MARION, S.D. (WNAX) – Southeastern Electric was among the rural coops that dealt with power outages caused by last week’s blizzard.
Manager Brad Schardin says they had their hands full for a few days.
Schardin says they found a variety of damages.
Schardin says they made some temporary fixes and will have to go back later to make more permanent repairs.
Schardin says at the height of the storm over 2,000 of their customers were in the dark. Southeastern, based in Marion, has about 18,000 consumers.
