ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The South Dakota School for the Blind and Visually Impaired will host Dinner in the Dark on Tuesday night on the campus of Northern State.
The event, which is sold out, features people trying to eat a meal while blindfolded, according to Jodi Carlsgaard, Committee Member of Dinner in the Dark.
She said proceeds from the event go to meet needs of the SDSBVI students.
The dinner is designed to be bring awareness to some of the issues associated with blindness or impaired vision.
Carlsgaard said that 176 people will be served at the event.
