YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- The South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks Department Commission approved changes to the lease for the operator of the marina at Lewis & Clark State Recreation Area west of Yankton.

State Parks and Recreation Director Scott Simpson explained the plans to the board at their meeting last week.

Simpson says the plans call for an expansion of the land used by the marina operator.

Simpson says the agreement also extends the lease out to ten years.

The lease includes a restaurant, convenience store, boat docks, repair services and storage, and some green space.
