YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- As summer travel shifts up, gas prices may also rise.

Shawn Steward with Triple “A” South Dakota says prices are much higher than a year ago.

Steward says that fuel demand may lead to price spikes and spot shortages in some places.

Steward says Triple “A” has predicted travel to be up at least 30% this summer over last year’s pandemic afflicted season.
