YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- The new Huether Family Aquatic Center in Yankton has seen strong interest since opening on Memorial Day.

City Manager Amy Leon says they are on pace to hit their goal of season passes.

Leon says the snacks are also going well.

She says they can hardly keep dipping dots in stock either.

Leon says they pool is getting a lot of traffic all day long.

Leon says the only complaint they have so far is that the center isn’t open long enough. Open swim hours have been from 11AM to 8PM during the first two weeks.
