YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- Members of the South Dakota legislatures Joint Committee on Appropriations are touring east river state facilities this week.

After a stop at the Human Services Center in Yankton on Monday, Representative Chris Karr of Sioux Falls says they got a lot of information.

Karr says they heard about the staffing issues HSC is facing.

Karr says the delivery of mental health services continues to change.

The committee will also make stops at state facilities in Sioux Falls, Brookings, and Huron.
