WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson was part of a delegation that spent time last week along the Mexican border in Arizona.
He says he saw numbers of immigrants trying to get into the U.S.
Johnson says while he saw a narrow part of the border near Yuma, they have many of the same problems.
Johnson says he heard from many border patrol officers about dealing with asylum seekers.
Johnson says it is a difficult issue and that is why Congress has been unable to find any solutions.
