The Natural Resources Conservation Service in South Dakota has set the deadline for enrollment for the next batch of funding under the Environmental Quality Incentives Program as July 9. South Dakota NRCS EQIP Coordinator Jennifer Wurtz says this signup is for those in one watershed.
She says there are several practices that can be utilized under EQIP.
Wurtz says those interested in this enrollment should contact their local NRCS office for an appointment or they can go online to apply.
Wurtz says this EQIP signup is a unique opportunity to improve the water quality in this watershed by incorporating soil health practices on producers’ operations.
