YANKTON, S.D. (WNAX) – The Yankton County Commission was told at their last meeting that flood damage totals about $19 million so far and that did not include road, bridge and culvert costs.
Commission Chairman Dan Klimisch says they expect that number to grow.
Klimisch says they have laid out a road priority repair program.
Klimisch says they will pay what they can to get roads passable.
Many gravel roads were closed to most traffic due to muddy conditions that led to more damage.
