YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- The Human Services Center in Yankton, like most employers, is having a difficult time finding enough workers.
Department of Social Services Secretary Laurie Gill says some units have been closed for a while.
Gill says they are doing an evaluation of the role the Human Services Center plays in mental health services in the state.
Gill says they are actively recruiting employees.
Gill, along with Governor Kristi Noem and the Joint Committee on Appropriations toured the facility in the last two weeks.
