FREEMAN, S.D.(WNAX)- With the start of school about a month away, the new Superintendent at the Freeman Public School has a lot of ground to cover in a short time.
Jake Tietje started his new job on July first and had his first official meeting with the school board this week.
Tietje says they finalized their last staff opening for this fall.
Tietje says they are actively planning for the new school year.
Tietje had been with the Fairmont Minnesota public school system.
