SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(WNAX)- The Delta variant of the coronavirus has become the dominant strain, and that has health care providers concerned.

Sanford Health Chief Physician, Dr Jeremy Cauwels, says they are tracking more infections.

Cauwels says most older residents have been vaccinated.

Cauwels says the variant is moving through the younger population.

Sanford Health made the vaccine a condition of employment for all of their employees by November first.
