OMAHA, N.E.(WNAX)- The Drug Enforcement Administration is seeing a big jump in the number of fake, or counterfeit pills they are seizing.
Emily Murray with the regional DEA office in Omaha says there is no guarantee when drugs are purchased anywhere other than a licensed pharmacy.
Murray says the counterfeit pills can look like the real thing.
Murray says they are talking to younger kids every year about drug problems.
Authorities found eleven pounds of fentanyl in a stop on I-80 in western Nebraska earlier this week.
