YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- The Covid-19 pandemic has placed the focus on health care workers and the need for more across the spectrum.

Marc Long, President of Mount Marty University in Yankton, says they are seeing increased interest in their nursing programs.

Long says some of their upper level courses are seeing a drop in students.

Long says their doctoral programs are seeing more interest.

Nursing has been a core program for the school since it opened in the mid-1930s.
