PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- South Dakota Public Utilities Commission Chairman Chris Nelson is making the circuit of Lincoln Day dinners as he plans to run for reelection next year.
Nelson says he likes the detail of the issues in front of the commission.
Nelson says he can defend his record of holding down rate increases from the states investor owned utilities.
Nelson was appointed to the Commission by Governor Dennis Daugaard in 2011 and was then elected to a six-year term in 2016.
