ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Last Saturday Senator John Thune spent the day in Aberdeen enjoying Northern’s homecoming as well as attending a ceremony involving the 452nd ordinance.

Senator Thune talk about the Gypsy Day Parade that took place in the morning.

After the parade, Senator Thune went to the Strode Center on the campus of Presentation College for the deployment ceremony for the 3rd Platoon, 452nd Ordinance Company.  The senator appreciate the effort of the troops in the war on terrorism.

Senator Mike Rounds and Congressman Dusty Johnson also spoke at the ceremony.

Following the ceremony, Senator Thune took a tour of Dakotah Bank Stadium prior to the homecoming game. The senator was amazed about how the stadium turned out.
