PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- The incoming Executive Director of the South Dakota Cattlemen’s Association says one of her priorities is growing the group’s membership. Taya Runyan just took over this month from Jodie Anderson who resigned to pursue other opportunities.
She says its critical the Association’s members actively stay engaged with policy makers in order to see the best outcomes on issues effecting the state’s cattle industry.
Runyan says she’s already preparing for the South Dakota Legislative session convening in January.
Runyan who’s a Pierre native holds a Law Degree from the University of South Dakota.
