PIERRE, S.D. (WNAX) – South Dakota state employees will see some changes in their health insurance plan.
Eric Olilla, Executive Director of the South Dakota State Employees Organization, says emails went out from the Bureau of Human Resources (BHR) in the last couple of weeks.
Olilla says the change can set some employees back.
Olilla says other changes are coming to the state health insurance plan.
A legislator on the Appropriations Committee says BHR can make changes to keep the insurance plan solvent. Also claims in the last year were higher than predicted.
