WATERTOWN, S.D.(KXLG)- At the city council meeting Monday night. They approved two licenses for Hy-Vee to sell (on-off sale) Wine and Cider, and (on-off sale) malt beverages and SD farm wine.

Councilman Danforth questioned what the difference is in the 2 licenses and if a change was made that now they can obtain theses licenses and carry the products in store.

Finance Manager Kristen Bobzien explains why you need two separate licenses and more clarification on being able to carry these products.

The two licenses were approved unanimously.
