RAPID CITY, S.D.(KOTA)- Two weeks ago, Vitalant announced a “critical shortage” of blood in the Black Hills.
Tori Robbins, communications manager at Vitalant, said while the demand has eased, donors are still needed.
Robbins said while all blood-types, platelets and plasma are in-demand, O-type blood remains needed.
Robbins, who has been a regular blood donor since her time in college, said there is nothing to be afraid of when it comes to lifesaving blood donations.
