SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(WNAX)- The ACLU of South Dakota is starting what they call the “Advocacy Academy,” a series of virtual training to help people become more involved in their communities.
ACLU advocacy manager Jett Jonelis says they have four chapters to cover.
Jonelis says they can help people who may not be sure how to get engaged in local issues.
Jonelis says sometimes one issue can propel a person to be more active.
