ABERDEEN, S.D.(Aberdeen American News)- Not everybody has somewhere to go for a Christmas meal.

At least two Aberdeen churches offer free meals in the days to come. Details follow.

Aberdeen First United Methodist Church

On Christmas day, there will be carols and communion at 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, followed by a free dinner from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. All are welcome. The church is at 502 S. Lincoln St.

Karen Church of Aberdeen

The church will host a worship at 1 p.m. on Christmas day followed by a Christmas party with a free meal. All are welcome. The congregation gathers at 1500 E. Melgaard Rd. at First Baptist Church.

The Salvation Army is also offering meals that can be picked up, but reservations had to be made in advance.
