PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- South Dakota lawmakers will have to get off to a quick start with all the issues in front of them.

Veteran Senator Jim Bolin of Canton says marijuana legislation will take considerable time.

There are at least thirty eight bills on file dealing with marijuana in some form.

Bolin says the impeachment process of Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg will have an impact.

Bolin says all the available state and federal dollars will also take time to sort through.

The session officially starts today and is scheduled to wrap up the main run on March 10^th.
