YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- The rise in Covid-19 infections has put a rush on in-home test kits.
Liz Healy, infection control specialist at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton, says those tests have been pretty reliable.
Healy says there is timing involved in taking those tests.
Healy says there is no requirement that people report those home test results to the state health department.
That means that posted infection numbers may be lower than the actual totals.
