ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Wednesday, U.S. Senator John Thune made stops in Aberdeen & Britton.
Prior to recapping his day here, Senator Thune also discussed headlines that developed during the day.
On Wednesday morning, Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer announced he will be retiring at the end of this term.
Senator Thune was not surprised to hear the announcement.
Thune comments that the Democrats will have control of who will be the next Supreme Court Justice.
Confirmation hearing will begin when Justice Breyer officially retires.
Another headline Wednesday was SkyWest to retain Essential Air Service for the Aberdeen Regional Airport for the next 3 years. Senator Thune was pleased to hear that decision.
