Schoenbeck says he knows his people and they don’t want “a bunch of crazy people re-writing the constitution”

Schoenbeck discussed the probability of that being passed.

The bill was “smoke out” which means it will brought to the Senator floor to set up a date for debate.

Senator Schoenbeck continues with some issues it could cause.

According to website for Convention of States South Dakota: “Our mission is to “build an engaged army of self-governing grassroots activists” and join other states in calling for a Convention of States under Article V of the United States Constitution, restricted to proposing amendments that will impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, and limit the terms of office for its officials and members of Congress.”
