PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- South Dakota legislators are back in Pierre with the final twelve days of the session in front of them.
Senator Jean Hunhoff, Co-Chair of the Joint Committee on Appropriations, says they still have to work through the current fiscal year budget before the move on to next year’s.
Hunhoff says they hope to set many of the budgets for state agencies this week.
There are hundreds of millions of federal dollars to be allocated yet. Hunhoff says there will be lots of debate on those.
Budget bills have to be passed out of their original house by today, crossover day.
