PIERRE, S.D.(DRGNews)- The National Weather Service has issued a red flag warning and very high wind watches and advisories today across the entire state of South Dakota.
Meteorologist Troy Kleffman says there’s a storm brewing over the region.
Kleffman says the Pierre/Fort Pierre area is around two feet behind normal for snowfall this winter.
Aberdeen since October has seen 29 inches of snow which is 10 inches below normal.
Aberdeen will be on a High Wind Watch beginning at 7am Wednesday.
Temperatures will be around 50 degrees in the central part of the state this week, which Kleffman says about normal.
