YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- Another big piece of pipeline for the Lewis & Clark Regional Water System will be under construction.

Executive Director Troy Larson says its part of the link to connect Madison.

Larson says they are seeing rising costs with the contracts.

Larson says Madison has been waiting a long time to get water from the system.

The pipeline could be delivering water by mid-2024. Madison will get one million gallons a day from the pipe.
