PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- Federal funds from the American Rescue Plan are still flowing into South Dakota.
Jim Terwilliger, head of the Bureau of Finance and Management updated the interim Appropriations Committee Wednesday.
Cities will split about sixty-five million dollars separate from the state share.
Terwilliger says more dollars will flow to state water projects.
Terwilliger says it will take some time to get those projects underway and the money spent.
The legislature and Governor Kristi Noem decided that most of those dollars will be spent on long term infrastructure projects.
