Aberdeen Chamber announces Top 4 Under 40 finalists

ABERDEEN, S.D.(Press Release) – The Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce kicked off the NEW Top 4 Under 40 Program in February 2022.  This program recognizes the efforts of young leaders in our community and region.

Nominees are between the ages of 21- 39; an Aberdeen and/or Brown County resident; exemplify the qualities of a true leader; is enroute or has already truly impacted our community and area for the better through their career and profession, community and civic involvement, personal or philanthropic efforts, etc.; and makes our community and region a better place because they’re in it.

The Chamber received a total of 24 completed applications. The Executive Board of the Chamber narrowed candidates down to the top 12 finalists who include: Alexandra Grieben, Dacotah Bank; Bea Smith, Sanford Health; Becah Fliehs, Love to Travel; David Novstrup, Thunder Road & Allevity Entertainment; Jordan Malsam-Kjellsen, Sign Gypsies Aberdeen Area; KaSara Sutton, Sanford Health; Lucas Bruns, Northwestern Mutual Financial Network; Olaf Hanson, Dacotah Bank; Sarah Viola, Brain Intercept; Shelby Boettner, Presentation College; Spencer Sommers, Co-Op Architecture; and Tarah Heupel, Sanford Health.

From this final 12, the top 4 will be selected and revealed at the 2022 ABBY Awards held on September 15, 2022, at the Dakota Event Center. They will also be publicly recognized in the November/December PROGRESS Magazine, social media, website, etc. Each recipient will receive a $250 cash prize.
