ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The City Election takes place today in Aberdeen.

There are two races, one for mayor and one for Northwest City Council. Both are five-year terms. In the mayor race, incumbent Mike Levsen faces Travis Schaunaman. In the city council race, incumbent Jennifer Slaight-Hansen faces Josh Rife.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. There are three vote centers throughout the city: the Brown County Courthouse Annex, the AmericInn Event Center, and the Best Western Ramkota Hotel and Convention Center.
