WASHINGTON, D.C. (KXLG) — As President Trump travels back to Washington from Vietnam following talks with North Korea, others in his party are reacting to yesterday’s Congressional hearing wherein the President’s former lawyer Michael Cohen accused his former employer of being a conman, cheat, and racist. South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds says the hearing saw Republicans doing their best to discredit Mr. Cohen and Democrats doing everything they could to indict the President for doing something wrong. He expects more revelations and discovery to surface between the President and his former attorney.

When asked if he is worried about the future of the Presidency, Rounds responded saying, “not at this stage.”
With regards to talks with North Korea Rounds said the President was in a no-win situation.
The state’s junior Senator says he also has concerns about the President’s emergency order to move already appropriated funds to build the wall, but that he will support his position this one-time.
