WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – The Ag Appropriations bill passed out of committee last week, sets aside $24 billion for ag spending, four percent more than last year and $5 billion over the budget request.
South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson says there are issues hidden in each spending bill.
Johnson says they need more debate on some of the bills provisions.
Johnson says he is trying to work with the Democratic majority.
Johnson says the Ag Appropriation bill may have problems being passed by the entire House.
