Chair of the summer study on juvenile justice testifed in front of the Executive Board

PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- Summer study committees of the South Dakota legislature turned in their reports to the Executive Board this week.

Representative Caleb Finck of Tripp was Chair of the Study Committee on Juvenile Justice and says it is a broad topic.

Finck says they broke into separate study groups.

Finck says it may be useful if some version of the committee is continued.

He says there may be several bills on juvenile justice reform brought by members of the committee.

Finck lost a House primary election and will not return to the next session of the legislature.
