PARKER, S.D.(WNAX)- Voters in the Parker School District passed a four-million-dollar bond issue in this month’s election. That was the third attempt at passing a bond and the first to get over sixty percent approval.
Superintendent Donavon Deboer says they worked to get more information out to their voters.
Deboer says each of the bond issues got over fifty percent of the vote.
Deboer says they will combine the bond dollars with budget dollars.
The high school will move into the current elementary school after they build new classrooms. Deboer says they will also add more gym and activity space.
