Rounds says allowing foreign agents to interfere in elections not acceptable

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – President Trump, in an interview with ABC News, says he would listen if a foreign government came to him with damaging information about a political rival and wouldn’t necessarily tell the FBI.

South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds says that is not acceptable.

Rounds says the FBI is right in saying those contacts have to be reported.

Rounds says Russia will continue to attempt to interfere in the American election process.

Rounds says they have been briefed on the possibilities of outside interference in next year’s election, too.
