YANKTON, S.D. (WNAX) – Most South Dakota school districts would like to see the lawmakers roll back some of their previous legislation.
Yankton Superintendent Wayne Kindle says changes to the capital outlay tax levy forced them to change some planned projects.
Kindle says the change will cost them some real money over the next few years.
The changes were made after legislators heard complaints about taxes for that fund rising faster than other levies.
