HURON, S.D.(KOKK)- District 22 representative Roger Chase is busy preparing for another Summer study committee for the Sd Legislature.  As a past Beadle County commissioner he was selected to chair the committee based on knowledge of internal issues in county government.  Chase previously chaired the workforce housing Summer study committee those recommendations finally made it through the Sd Legislature this year.  As Summer construction season heats up the implementation is still lagging.

Chase said getting workable rules in place is an important consideration.

With the impending Summer study committee on county government, Chase talks about some of the relevant issues.

Recommendations will be made for the 2024 South Dakota Legislative session.
