ABERDEEN, S.D. (Press Release) – Beginning at approximately 8am on Wednesday, July 10th, 2019, weather permitting, the Aberdeen Fire Department will begin flow-testing fire hydrants in the following area:

From Railroad Avenue North to City Limits

between

North Washington Street to West City Limits

The fire department will be opening hydrants and residents will experience some water pressure changes, and in some instances the water will be disturbed to the point of discoloring or appearing rusty.  The project will continue until completed in these areas of the city until all hydrants have been tested.  Any questions or concerns can be reported to the Public Works Department at 626-7010.
