SDGA Sanford Futures Tournament w/ local & regional HS & college athletes [Day 1 of 2] @ Larchwood Casino; IA

The SDGA Sanford Futures Tournament saw their first day of action yesterday in Larchwood, IA at “The Falls.” The futures features the top high school boys and girls and many of the top regional men and women collegiate golfers. On the girls’ high school side, Aberdeen’s Olivia Braun is the leader in the club house after day one, carding a nine over par, 79 for the day. Jayce Pugh from Miller is two shots back of her. On the boys high school circuit, the only regional player is Watertown’s Jake Olson; he’s tied for 7^th place going into day two. On the college side of things, the Aberdonian, Lucas Schaefbauer, who attended Roncalli HS and currently attends SDSU, is tied for first place. Schaefbauer is part of a three way tie for first, with four strokes under par. Check out the leader board below for the full scoreboard from Monday.
