ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- A citizen of Brown County used the open forum at Tuesday’s Brown County Commission meeting to address the issue of eminent domain in regard to private property.

Ryan Kelly of Aberdeen explains that he has supports for landowners but situation with Summit Carbon Solutions will likely not impact him.

Kelly talks about his concerns is more toward the future than what’s  happening in the present.

Kelly discuss that there only so much a county can do in regards to property rights.

Kelly feels this is an issue that needs to be settled by the South Dakota Legislature.

Since it was said during the open forum, County Commissioners were not allowed to respond back.
