WATERTOWN, S.D.(KWAT)–A Codington County Jail inmate who escaped three months ago after fleeing a medical facility during a doctor’s appointment is now back in custody.
Chief Deputy Brent Solum says Justin Taube of Willmar, Minnesota was caught by authorities and was being held at a jail in Marysville, Missouri before he was recently brought back to Watertown.
In addition to drug charges, Taube now faces charges of Second Degree Escape.
When he fled Watertown on May 9th, he had just 12 days remaining on his sentence on controlled substance charges.
