WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds is again co-sponsoring a bill called the “RESPECT Act,” that would repeal a number of outdated laws related to the treatment of Native Americans.
Rounds says it is not an attempt to rewrite history.
Rounds says he first co-sponsored the bill in 2016.
South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson is a co-sponsor in the House.
