ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Aberdeen City Council held a work session Monday night addressing the 2024 city budget.

City Manager Joe Gaa announced that two-way Main Street is for now not going to be included in the budget.  Gaa explains why.

Aberdeen City Councilman David Novstrup asked if this is something that city tried to addressed with state government in Pierre.

Aberdeen City Engineer Robin Bobzien explains this was not what the state is ready for.

Councilman Novstrup reflect back on the study that was done a few years back.

Novstrup feels like this is something that the city needs to discuss more about.  Another person that feels this way is Councilwoman Erin Fouberg.

Among those in support of two-way Main include the Aberdeen Downtown Association.
