ABERDEEN, S.D.(Press Release)- A “Holiday Celebration for Youth” is scheduled to be held at the Aberdeen Civic Arena on Monday, December 13 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Youths of all ages are welcome to participate in fun holiday activities.   The event is sponsored by the Aberdeen Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department with special assistance from Dacotah Prairie Museum and The Girl Scouts.

The evening includes Christmas crafts and games, face painting, candle making, cookie decorating and piñatas, as well as refreshments.  Santa will be making an appearance to finalize his list of Christmas wishes to deliver.  The Talking Christmas Tree will also be there to visit with youngsters.

The admission fee for the event is $1.00 per person.
