A Pair Of Top-10 Finishes For NSU XC Up in ND

Jamestown, ND (NSUWolves.com) – The Northern State University men’s and women’s cross country teams were back in action Friday morning from the University of Jamestown Jimmie Invite. The women placed sixth in the 6k, while the men took eighth in the 8k.

MEN’S HIGHLIGHTS

  • The Wolves men were led by Jacob Angerhofer with a 63rd place finish in the 8k, crossing the line in 27:23.7
  • Carter Flatau and Patrick Severson took 78th and 82nd with marks of 28:09.3 and 28:16.1 respectively
  • The scoring-five for NSU was rounded out by Easton Klatt and Blake Stoks with top-100 finishes and times of 28:44.2 and 28:53.4

WOMEN’S HIGHLIGHTS

  • The Northern women recorded three placers in the top-45 of the meet, including a 21st place finish by Emaleigh Olesiak
  • The sophomore crossed the finish line in 22:59.6
  • Abby Hasart landed inside the top-30, taking 29th overall with a time of 23:27.4, followed by Jolie Dugan in 44th with a time of 24:13.7
  • Avery Miles and Madeline Nye rounded out the scorers for NSU with times of 26:10.1 and 26:10.9
