SOUTH DAKOTA(KELO Radio)- Triple-A (AAA) expects Memorial Day weekend travel to rebound after last’s year’s shutdown because of the pandemic.

If you’re traveling by car, truck or RV, you can expect to pay about 40 more cents per gallon over last year.

That’s according to Politifact.

Triple-A says the national average for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline Wednesday is a little over $3 per gallon.

They say the average price in South Dakota today is just under $2.92 a gallon.
