SOUTH DAKOTA(WNAX)- Warmer weather and two years of pandemic restrictions will get a lot of people moving this weekend.
Shawn Steward with Triple “A” South Dakota says they have made some predictions.
Steward says that will lead to some busy highways at times.
Steward says folks will be flying too.
Travel will take place in spite of a national average gas price of four sixty a gallon. Triple “A” says the average price in South Dakota is now four twenty four.
South Dakota Highway Patrol Assistant Superintendent Jason Ketterling says they will be out in force.
Ketterling says all of their troopers will be on the clock.
Ketterling says they see too many people killed in rollover accidents because they are not using their seatbelt.
Ketterling says the extra patrols will be out from Friday afternoon through Monday evening.
