ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The Aberdeen Area is bracing for its first snow storm of the season.

The area is under a Winter Storm Warning.

Mike Connelly, Meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Aberdeen, said heavy snow is on the way.

The good news is that winds will be somewhat manageable.

Connelly said there is more snow in the forecast for the weekend.
